(11-29-18) – In response to Planned Parenthood’s newly announced “vision” for the business model of the nation’s number one abortion vendor, Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins made the following statement: “Planned Parenthood may have a new president, but they are sticking with old talking points, ignoring the many harms of abortion as they work to siphon off scarce taxpayer resources towards a business that fails women.
“Pregnancy is not a disease cured by abortion. Women deserve real, life-affirming care and can achieve that in full-service Federally Qualified Health Centers that far outnumber the abortion vendor locations. Compared to these community health centers, Planned Parenthood serves millions fewer patients, provides dozens fewer services, and spends their money far more inefficiently. Taxpayers deserve a return on their investment that helps women and their children, born and preborn.”
